What does queer mean and what does it have to do with the home? By definition queer means strange, odd, different. The home is a reflection of you, how you are refined, inviting, fitting into the box. Nothing out of place. In the “Queerness in Body'' series we are taking an experimental look at how queerness falls into place with all the other details, how we force it to be in the confines of a box that many were born into. Oddities become fashion, differences become appetizing, strange becomes decor. How does the queer body find a place in the saccharine sweet household? And how does that affect the queer bodies some call home?
